Hi there John… I like your blog … I have FacioScapuloHumeral Muscular Dystrophy…. I’m a mom with a little son and have much in my life that I am happy about … I like the way you record your experiences with muscular dystrophy and how you don’t let it keep you back from doing all the ‘normal’ things people do. I live in Malaysia .. people are generally nice but are stumped when dealing with someone in a wheelchair… and there is not much support in the way of accessible infrastructure .. so unfortunately many ‘disabled/mobility impaired’ don’t venture out as often. I myself have had to fight to get to college, book flights, attend concerts, find employment, get assistance…. The mindset is slowly changing… I feel blogs like yours really help change the narrow minded attitude …. So thank you… I hope you don’t mind but I shall pass on you blog link to my friends… :-)
